Read all about it here first.....A new item in Stelie Designs is affordable art prints! The 8"x10" original designs are printed on 8.5"x11" 80# recycled white cardstock with archival inks. Perfect for framing and changing out with the seasons if one so chooses. I currently have 4 designs printed and more in the works. These can be personalized as well. What do you think so far?

A couple after my own heart, having a wedding with blues and orange. A dream come true. Do you remember a few of my more recent samples have been in this hot color combination, the Harper and the Kendall . I sent these lovelies out last Friday. The look of the Sydney wedding invitation is endless with so many color possibilities.

I spent mine much like this... relaxing in a chair in the sand on gorgeously warm sunny days watching my wonderful family playing in the sand and water and taking pictures. It doesn't get any better than this...

Our zoo opened with an Africa exhibit, and this past Thursday evening there was a member only preview event. It was a fun family event. On our way to see the giraffe's, we had to pass by the bears the takin's, the prairie dogs, and then came Africa! It was so much fun. I was surprised to see we could feed and pet the sweet giraffe's. Avery was walking by and the giraffe took it right out of her hand, so Paxton passed his cracker to Daddy, the giraffe again was too quick. We all got to pet him though. We walked through the entire outside (thankfully the farm was closed) passing the ostriches, camels, moose, caribou, tigers and boy was I exhausted, my shin splints are getting worse and my feet are swelling more as the days progress. We headed back to the rotunda and enjoyed music, our picnic dinner, and lots of silliness. Here's a quick glimpse of why I get physically exhausted faster these days. These welcome tags are for one of my brides who is having out of town guests and wants to have a bag of goodies waiting for them. The coordinating Sydney design, pulls the entire event into one cohesive package.

I created this paisley design for a local bride who wanted to incorporate paisley into their reception items to go with their paisley guest book and the grooms paisley tie. I always get so pumped up to create a new design! Paisley is a big trend too. This design was incorporated on place cards and table numbers. Here is the finished product. Below is an example of designs that didn't make the final cut. I create different designs to give each client a choice. Below are a couple. Are you crazy about paisley too? I can't believe I haven't posted in a week! The weekend was spent shopping for summer clothes for Avery since she has nothing from last year that fits and working. Monday, I turned 30 weeks and spent a couple hours at the doctor doing our monthly baby growth ultrasound, every 2 week tests and Dr. visit. All is going great! The babies are right on track and all is as good as it can be with me. While I was doing that my Mom spent the morning with P&A and then the afternoon she filled nail holes, touched up paint, and cleaned the nursery. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! My Mom is the best. I'm grateful my body is meant to carry twins (twice) and that my doctor (she rocks!) takes every possible precaution to ensure they are delivered full term. July 9 here we come! I'm working on 4 weddings and a baby announcement. I'll have photos to show you soon.

Say thank you to your child's teacher(s) for doing such a wonderful job with the perfect teacher's gift. These are personalized notecards and personalized notepads complete with an apple and a sweet little worm. I put 5 of these in the mail for my dearest friend today and because I was in such a hurry I didn't get a chance to take good product shots. Believe me these look so much more crisp and clean in person.

These sweet ones made me a Mommy four years ago. Something I looked forward to my entire life. Then came a time when I thought it would never happen but thankfully God heard my prayers and with the help of science I was blessed with not one but two miracles of life. Thank you Paxton and Avery for making my dreams come true! As I tell you every day, "I AM the luckiest Mommy in the whole wide world!" I am also the luckiest daughter in the whole wide world. Thank you Mom for being an inspiration and such an incredible person. Happy Mother's Day to you! Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's out there.

Remember that penguin design for a wedding I was asked to create? Since, I thought my penguin turned out so cute (how narcisistic of me.) I had to make it into personalized stationery too.

and it only took me 10 months to actually complete them! As the saying goes "it's better late than never!" Right?!? These are just a few styles I have completed, they can be personalized or plain. 40 pages printed on text weight 100% recycled white linen textured cardstock. I'll post these in my shop soon if you are interested in your own set.

My husband came down with the flu in the midst of my office move Sunday and was out of commission until Tuesday. Since I've been pregnant, my hubby gets up in the night with the kids if needed and gets up at 5:00 or 5:30 when they wake. I then return to a nice slumber until he leaves for work shortly before 7:00. sigh....isn't it wonderful... Well...while he was down (or placed under my mandatory quarantine) I slept in the guest room, was up with Avery in the night, and up at the crack of down with the kids. Boy was I an exhausted and cranky prego woman with pretty much no office time and a huge need to nest. Thank goodness it's back to our new normal routine. Thank you hunknee!

{poor quality photo compliments of my blackberry} My new office space is complete. By complete, I mean look at the above photo. (as you can see the kids moved in first) It once was a completely unfinished space or my husbands shop/storage room and is now just gorgeous. [Thank you Dad!] Do you remember this post? It shows how little my office was. Can you imagine fitting in 2 bouncers and/or 2 excersausers along with 2 pre-schoolers? Ummm....I don't think so. Now I'm...well...actually my Dad and Jer are moving me. My desk is in place, my computer and printers working. Once my work surface is installed, I can design upper & lower cabinetry for my husband to build and install. Now it's up to me to unpack and reorganize. I hope I finish before these babies arrive!
