  A client asked if i could add fireworks to the grass is greener invite.  Oh and a picture on the back. Of course!    My favorite is "be there or be square" on the rsvp!  These turned out fun and perfect for the summer 4th of July weekend.

The flamingo's are proving to be my most popular Mom's day card!   All of these and more can be found in the shop .

Take this  flamingo napkin from IKEA. Add it to this  IKEA frame (I had mine lying around)  to make a cute picture for my flamingo loving boy   Grand total $0.05 since I already had the frame.  If purchased new it would be a $10.04 art project + $1.44 to use as drink napkins . ($1.49 / 30 = $0.05 each)   Now that's cheap and easy! Art doesn't have to cost a fortune.

Meet my newest wedding invitation design - Burst (for lack of a better name or maybe Bolt has been on too many times at my house the last couple weekends.)  Bolt - Burst...get it? My mom had the below napkin, and I instantly thought "FABULOUS DESIGN FOR AN INVITATION!!!" Instead of using it, I snatched it for home. A few weeks later as I got to designing, I checked out The Perfect Palette  for color inspiration (one of the best places for wedding color inspiration btw.) and this gorgeous color combo was the post. Recently, I've had clients with navy and hot pink / fuscia so this softer pink was the perfect change.  Meant to be.

Friday's are pizza night at our house, so last Friday as I was making 3 pizza's for my various food sensitive kids. Paxton is gluten/dairy/soy free, Easton is dairy/egg free, Adler is dairy/peanut free.  Avery isn't showing signs of intolerance yet.  Jer needs to be dairy free but not ready to give it up. Let me start by saying I HATE STRONGLY DISLIKE TO COOK!  I HATE STRONGLY DISLIKE TO BAKE!  I did get a B in home ec cooking in middle school.  Hard to believe I'm related to my mom & grandma who are wonderful cooks & bakers.  But there are 4 little people in my house who require being fed breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks 365! As I was stirring up the dough, rolling it out, grating goat cheeses, pureeing broccoli, then sneaking it into the pizza sauce, I was thinking gone are the days when I could rip open the plasic and shove a frozen pizza in the oven. One of the best parts of being in business for a while is my wedding clients are now becoming my baby clients!! I was tasked with creating a clean + modern Kentucky Derby themed baby shower for a former bride.  Her colors were mint + yellow.   All that came to mind was horses + big hats!  [My husband decided to research and shared a bunch of details about the Kentucky Derby.]  Above is the final invitation and below are options that didn't make the cut.  While these are not listed in the shop, if you are in love with any of these 5 designs email steliedesigns@yahoo.com . Earlier this month, I participated in my EtsyGreetings Team Color Design Challenge.  The above colors were what we had to come up with for a greeting card. After seeing the colors the below card popped into my head I loved how it turned out and was happy but then I thought maybe I should do something else.  Next came the following.
