You have to have one!

Image
Isn't this little guy adorable!!! I found the Wibbly Woo on etsy and bought him as a present to use as a tooth fairy pillow for a sweet little boy. I am definitely going to buy more. The seller is awesome! She sold this item before I had a chance to purchase him, so she made me a custom one because I loved him so. Check out abbydid's etsy shop for all kinds of other fun items.

I wanted to take a couple pictures of your daddy & I before we headed to the hospital but you had other plans. My water broke which meant you were ready to arrive, so these are the last pictures we have of you inside my tummy. I measured 49 weeks, could hardly walk, was swollen all over and so excited to finally meet you both. Daddy was excited for a new pair of scrubs and trying to look all serious and silly while anxiously awaiting your arrival too. This is my first picture with you both. Look how tiny you are. These 3 weeks have been wonderful, you both are growing so quickly and we all couldn't be more blessed. As of a few days ago, Easton, you weighed 7lbs 4oz and Adler, you weighed 7lbs 8oz. Just look how much you've changed!

time flies...

when you have 2 newborns, 2 four year olds and a business to run. i have lots to share so stay tuned.

Coming Home

We were discharged from the hospital around 2:30pm Sunday. Here are the four kids while we were waiting for the final okay. (Paxton & Avery's shirts said Big Brothers/Sisters Rock!) Aren't they all so wonderful? I can hardly believe they are mine! And today Easton & Adler are 1 week old already.

The babies are here!

Please welcome the 2 newest additions to our family! EASTON JAMES 7.9.09 . 8 :06 am . 6 lbs 3 oz . 20" long & ADLER KINSLEE 7.9.09 . 8:08 am . 6 lbs 4 oz . 19.5" long July 9, 2009 was meant to be their birthday. My water broke at 4:30am while I was getting ready for my scheduled c-section so we arrived at 5:15 instead of 5:30. Water breaking was an interesting experience because it never happened with P&A. All went well with their birth and they are both healthy and happy precious little ones. We are truly blessed. Paxton and Avery love to hold their new siblings and are so helpful. Custom Note pads

Image
A fellow Etsy seller, asked if I could create custom notepads for her shop. Of course! I created a few options for her to review. After reviewing we created this final options. Let me know if you want your own custom notepads. Check out her website , she has great items. The dinosaurs are obviously my favorite! Thanks Carri!

Oldie but Goodie Part 4

This item is from the year 2000! The year Stelie Designs was created by myself and my former partner. Read this post for Stelie background. These layered moving announcements sparked the 'you should really be doing this as a business!' Previously everything was hand drawn and hand colored, now I would have it all printed to save time and money. Its fun to see how my style has change over the years. This is a sketch I did of my very own first home and used it as the background for my housewarming invites. *they are a bit worn looking since I didn't store them very safely.

Win Free Stuff!!!

Enter here to win free Stelie products. All you have to do is guess as many times as you like. Can't get any easier than that! ps. here's a hint...P&A's stats were both 6 lbs 1 oz 20"

Prep work

This wall is in the hall between P&A's room and the nursery with a bathroom in the middle. Our home is all hardword floors with lots of hard surfaces and little to absorb sound. Since the kids' rooms will be close I wanted more soft surfaces to better absorb sound...or should I say crying in the middle of the night. We already have soft fuzzy rugs on the hall floor, so I removed the framed art and made these fabric panels. I gave my husband the dimensions I wanted, he built me 3 wood frames, I wrapped batting and fabric around them stapled to the back and whola instant art that also helps absorb sound. I love projects that are cheap, easy and serve a purpose.

Oldies but Goodies Part 3

If you've been following me, you guessed it! These are my wedding programs. Created using the same cardstock as my save the dates and invitations. I am a big believer in continuity to pull an event together. The colors of the papers matched the colors in the brides girls dresses. These 4 pages are attached with the same simple silver circle brad.
