Getting Older

As I'm about to embark on my 41st birthday, I've been thinking a lot about "bucket lists" and how I don't have one and I've never had one.   bucket list is defined as: a number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime or before one dies. In my 20's, I had plans for my 30's, I wanted a career I loved, to marry the love of my life and to have kids. Done, Done and overly DONE.  I've traveled a LOT in my life, I've had lots of experiences and personal achievements in 4 decades, some fabulous, some less than fabulous and some down right not good, but they all bring me to who I am today. While driving in the car alone one morning, I thought what would I add to a bucket list, I couldn't think of anything, I feel so happy and blessed, I have amazing family and friends, a roof over my head, food on the table, what more would I need? Later that night, I found this quote on pinteres

St Paul Skyline Save the Dates

Image
Considering I've lived in the Twin Cities for 23 years (gasp!!) I've been meaning to create a St. Paul skyline since I already have Minneapolis.  It took a few years and someone a sweet bride-to-be to ask for it, that it's now here, added to my skyline collection (Austin, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and St . Paul)  Available in my shop!

Back to school Dinner

Image
Now that we are entering the 4th week of school, I'm finally sharing our back to school dinner! [Paxton & Avery entering 3rd grade + Adler & Easton entering preschool] Every year we do a back to school dinner labor day night a.k.a. the night before the new school year starts.  We make crowns and have fondue, this year we also had pizza.  (2 kids wanted pizza & 2 kids wanted fondue) This is my hopes to get them excited for a new school year! Apparently, I missed a close up of Easton.  Oooops...that's what happens when you have 4 kids.

Tractor Birthday

Image
I created the above invites for a client who's son loves tractors.  I love how fun they turned out so I added them along with matching thank you cards to my printables shop .   Since girls love tractors too, I made a girlier version.  If you want these, but don't want to buy the supplies, print, or cut!  I'd love to print them for you.

New Stelie Designs 2014 Illustrated Calendar!

Image
The 2014 Illustrated desk calendar is here in it's entirety!     Which month is your favorite?   While I of course love them all, I can't decide between the vividness of March (& it's P&A's bday month,) or funness of July's flamingo (what's not to love about a flamingo with sunglasses & it's E&A's + my hubby & mom bday month)   These are now available here

Back to School!

And just like that...school was here! I have 3rd graders!  Did you hear me? Third Graders!!! My first borns are excited for the new school year, they have a sweet teacher, friends in their class and so much to look forward too.  They went off without any hesitation. Full of smiles and tired of me taking pictures.  It seems rather quiet around here, can't wait to pick them up and hear all about their day!
