When I went to bed last night, I was in my 30's.  When I was nicely woken up by small children at 3am, I was in my 40's.  Amazing how that happens.  Today, I don't feel any older.  Should I? My 20's were fun. growing up. independent. selfish. lots of partying. stylish. career building. happy times. My 30's were fun. becoming a wife. having kids. having more kids. career changing. challenging. happy times. My 40's are bound to be fun and so much more.  Looking forward to another decade of life!

These little loveys  in their pigtails have been taking up so much of time as they potty train again for the 3rd and last time. You'd think after having two under my belt #3 & #4 would be easy.  Umm..no! Challenging is what it is.   Paxton & Avery were completely done before 2 1/2 yrs old.  These guys had other plans. Adler has been fully potty trained at least 3 times but then after a couple weeds decides she doesn't want to do it anymore.  Probably because her brother isn't.  We started again, last Tuesday, Adler was great! Easton cried a lot, A LOT.  After many tears by him and me, I decided to push thru and we are now a diaper free family!  My babies aren't babies anymore.  They are big little kids. So proud of them.

As the years pass, and now that I'm a mother, it affects me more. My heart goes out to all the kids who've lost a parent and all the parents who've lost a child in this horrific attacks of 9/11.  The light shines on all those lost and all the heros that are still with us today. I will never forget.

   

 Paxton & Avery started 2nd grade today! They are both so excited!  Family photo I'm so excited for them.  A new year of learning.  A new year of friends.  A new year of growing. Bus is coming! Last night we had our back to school dinner to kick off the new year. {paxton showing off his 3 missing front teeth} {Orange juice toast to a fun new school year} I love these 2 so much!  School is bittersweet for me.  I love they get to learn from someone else but miss them terribly during the day.  You can see how much they've changed over their school years 1st grade & kindergarten .
