Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Wishing you a safe and happy holiday season! Love, the G-K family

Kids are the best!

Since I've been feeling pretty yucky so far this holiday season, I've had to send my sweet husband out alone to find the kids xmas presents. After he couldn't find a couple items at 2 Targets, he was going to try ToysRUs. While all of us were sitting at the table eating lunch this happened: Me: Hunknee when are you going to (spelling it out) T - O - Y? Avery: Can I go bye bye? Can I go to T - O - Y too? Jer & I exchange looks. Avery without missing a beat says: What is T - O - Y? Me: Starts giggling and tell her how much I love her. Then change the subject to it's almost nap time. It's a blessing that we're expecting 2 babies because P & A have each claimed one. Avery named 'her' baby Kick and Paxton named his something we couldn't remember so now he named his baby Faffer! (I have no idea where he came up with that!) So I'm carrying Faffer and Kick! I had another ultrasound and they are both growing right on schedule and have go

Never say Never!

Look what now sits in my garage! Yes, it's a minivan!!?!! Something I said I would never own! With 4 kids on the way, my Honda CRV wouldn't get us all home from the hospital, so practicality and economical choices took over and now a new Honda Odyssey is mine Never say never! 5 years ago I said I'd never move out of the city, but I quickly found I could get more house for the money in the suburbs, so I sacrificed and moved to a first tier suburb with the same area code at least. When the housing market strengthens we'll probably move to a much further souther suburb closer to my parents. Never say never! Growing up my mom always said she wished she'd had twins. Once in high school, I babysat for 6 month old twins and said I never want twins. Then I got twins. After P&A arrived I wouldn't have had it any other way. With another set due this summer, I guess I'm destined to carry and be a mother to twins. Never say never! (Now my mom will have 2

Double Blessings

These two adorable little monkeys of mine are my pride and joy (you already know if you follow my blog.) I knew from the beginning they were meant to bless our life with all the love and joy that came with the difficulty of twin pregnancy, twin babies, twin toddlers, etc. Today they learned they are going to be a big brother and big sister next summer! Yes, I am pregnant! Our frozen invitro round worked, thanks to all of you who sent us positive thoughts, prayers and well wishes. Now you know why I haven't been as faithful to this blog as usual. This morning we had our first ultrasound and this is what we saw... A shocking set of two babies. While I just knew it was two with P&A this time I along with my husband and parents were sure it was one. (Maybe because it was only a 17% chance of twins.) Now once the shock wears off and I begin to feel well, we have lots of plans to change for this second double blessing.

A little Winter Fun!

Snow fell a couple days after Thanksgiving, which made for a perfect sledding experience. Don't you think?
