a cherry blossom design has been in the back of my mind for years. a couple weeks ago, the tree outside our dining room playroom flowered these most beautiful pale pink flowers. (we didn't know about this happy surprise) the blooms resparked a branch with flowers design.  of course the last few raining windy days have eliminated all remnants that the tree ever bloomed. (aka: no photo) today adler wore a shirt that had blooms which reminded me of our tree. hence, the universe screaming telling me. "design one already!"   i listened. i'm happy with how she turned out.  are you?

inspiration can be found anywhere. for example, inspiration can be found in this windmill. this windmill that i have driven by hundreds of times since we moved to the middle of no where a small town very south of the city.   my husband took this photo for me while i was driving.  (don't worry, i slowed down to 50 mph.) now meet campbell.  she's sweet.  she's charming.  she's casual.  she's fun. she's country chic.  and she's available for your wedding . event. stationery. notepads. art print. see inspiration can be found anywhere. even in an old windmill. what inspires you?

{*crazy like having a tiger walk right in front of my kids} man this going down to 3 days a week with childcare thing is challenging.  my little ones are almost 2 and becoming busier, more active and more daring as the days pass. which means one eye on them while trying to read/answer emails and convos.  here is a quick run down of happenings since my last post. thursday - the little ones & i stood with my big ones at the bus stop. waved goodbye. when we arrived in our garage to go inside the house, my little ones had other plans, they wanted to go for a walk & climbed in the baby jogger.  we walked to a local coffee shop as the rain clouds kept nearing, we ordered & headed back home, after a couple blocks, i realized i left my coffee on the table since i needed both hands to get the stroller & i out the door since the handful of patrons didn't offer assistance.  headed back. one child now sleeping. we walked a different way home since i didn't want to pass

{entire invitation set}  i had a blast drawing this truck for a custom design project! who knew a truck photo would be so inspiring.  the truck sits under trees on the property of their wedding venue the save the dates were the birds with bird house (see here ) which we kept in the invitation design for continuity.   {close up of the invite}  for thank you cards, i took the truck with the love birds and added a just married sign.  {thank you cards} if you love it as much as i do....here it is again. {close up of the design} do you have a custom idea you'd like? contact me steliedesigns@yahoo.com to discuss.

this little number went out recently. the riley is the standard invite size of 5x7 with a tear off rsvp postcard. these are printed in green glass / olive and brown.  what color would you choose?

i'm honored when people hire me. i'm even more honored when friends ask me to create something for them.  recently a college friend (sorority sister) gave birth to twin baby girls.  we'd been chatting lots when i found out she was having twins.  gave her some tips & tricks about twin babies...you know since i have 2 sets. i've learned  a LOT and love to share! these adorably cute baby girls arrived sooner than their parent's would've liked and she asked if i'd create their baby annoucements.  Oh yes! Thank you!  Above is the final result. Below are some other options:

another bicyle built for 2 (aka. the madison) left my office and ended in australia. i love to see how each couple customizes my existing designs. this couple added their email + phone in the event one chooses to respond that way. plus they added this note: *bikes are not actually required you know...just in case anyone was confused. i love love this add.

a couple months ago, a bride sent me a quick notepad sketch of what she was thinking for a save the date card she would print herself.  while i was booked solid at the time, i loved her idea too much too pass up.  so we worked together for which i am so glad.   i just love her pairings! don't you agree? they also wanted to keep it real by adding the "or we de-friend you on facebook"
