a few months ago, a sister of one of my brides asked if i could secretly create labels for this diy project she was putting together for favors.  of course. what a fantastic project. i designed tea bag tags, tin front and top labels for her to print, cut, create.   this is perfect not just for wedding favors but baby showers, birthday parties, holiday or dinner parties, a tea party with friends, etc. check out style me pretty for more diy projects.

i'm just too excited by these super duper fantastic [if i do say so myself] girls birthday party invites i'm working on for two very special little ladies.  and just had to share with you. the vibrancy makes me feel like spring and summer isjust around the corner.  don't worry. i'll show you the full package once they are complete! makes me want to be 6 again.

[she is modern. economical. sweet. eco friendly.] these are a single 5x7 card with invite on the front and postcard rsvp on the back. perforated to remove and mail in rsvp . great for our environment because these are [like all my others] printed on 100% pcw recycled cardstock + one page and one envelope. the smaller invite takes up less space on the refrigerator or in your calendar. less paper = better for environment less paper = less cost less paper = still high on style

its been way too long since i last took a photo of my fab 4. they are starting to feel better, coughs and runny noses they still have but only adler is still on antibiotics. hope you are enjoying your weekend!

the last 3 weeks we've been plagued with illness. first the flu, then colds and coughs and now ear infections. 5 of 8 little ears are infected and 3 kids are on antibiotics. in the past week we missed preschool, took 4 trips to the doctor, heard lots of crying, watched lots of movies, listened to cooped up arguing kids. tried to fit in worktime. valentines day we had a fondue family lunch at home. it went something like, jer helped big kids cook and cut their food, while i held two crying babies one in my wrap and one in my arms in the bedroom until tylenol kicked in. i'm hoping all 4 are on the mend and we can all get back into the swing of things. the top of my priority list is taxes business and personal. looking forward to spring. and wishing all of you good health.

i love custom work. i'm sure you've heard me say it before. and i'm sure you'll hear me say it again. i. love. custom. work. it forces me to take time to create. a couple who used the olive owl save the date cards has asked me to create an invitation incorporating the owls. these are only 3 of the many options i showed them. these are not the one. but each is wonderful in its own way. eventhough, my true design style is modern, i can design something ni whatever style you are after.

when i asked paxton & avery what do you wanted on your valentines? they both said "dinosaurs!" dinosaurs is what they got. they picked the dinosaurs and the colors. unfortunately, these are still waiting to be given to their friends. they missed their valentine party and the entire 3 days of preschool. if you follow me on twitter then you already know they were sick again. this time awful coughs and low grade fevers, avery ended up with an ear infection and thankfully not strep. gone is a home full of the flu bug now it's a home full of yucky coughing children:( i had originally planned on posting these as a free download but with 4 needy not feeling well children, 2 trips to the dr and one trip to the pharmacy, time got away from me and i'm working on catching up so please forgive me.

spring is in the air here at stelie designs. not outside. its full of lots of snow. but inside my office and computer, are thinking spring. a new wedding invite i'm creating. full invitation later.

the hip circles wedding invite has been a very successful invitation design for me since creation 2 years ago. as a bit of spring cleaning, i decided to give it a fresh, even hipper and even more fun look. is that even possible? well...yes, i think so... check out hip circles2... the circles a bit more oval [okay so they ARE oval] were moved to the bottom, the orange is now hot pink and it's printed on the same 100% recycled white linen cardstock but is paired with an rsvp postcard instead of the traditional rsvp with envelope. the original hip circles will continue to be a staple and like all my designs these can be customized to fit your event colors better. what do you think?

a glimpse of my almost 5 year olds {i'm too young for kids this old} party invites. my kids love. love. love. animals. what could be more perfect than celebrating their big day at the nature center a block from our home. of all the party options, they picked animal tracks. {thankfully they chose this over reptiles!} i drew the racoon, deer, and coyote tracks. all that really matters is they were super duper excited when they saw them printed. now i need to address and mail them and figure out the rest of their party stuff.
