remember this save the date i did early this year? well..... today, i finally finished creating the love rocks wedding invitation (better late than never right?!?) here she is...

this little one and this little one have been conspiring to keep their mommy from sleeping.  the other night mr. e was awake from 2am-4am and the next night miss ak was awake from midnight-2am. hmmm....i wonder what will they be conspiring next?

to bring you something else. i'd planned to bring you part 2 of my fun little project today. why am i unable to bring you part 2 now? you ask.   ~ last night, i chatted with old coworker friends longer than planned. too much chit chat & laughter followed by xmas + grocery shopping, followed by rush hour like traffic at 9pm, followed by unpacking groceries, followed by wrapping the xmas presents, followed by thinking my 2 cups of coffee at happy hour not the best idea when i really should be sleeping. ~today will be interupted by a trip back to the dr. my ear is in pain again. hoping to take some photos. photos of the memory game in use not my ear in pain. anyway. moving on. i'll be starting production on this saylor invite. aren't these super cute colors? (so much prettier in person) oh and here is a final picture of the ~my fun little project~ enjoy the rest of your day & safe travels if you're traveling.

let's just say. i am so thankful for my busiest holiday season to date! i am so thankful & thrilled my business is thriving.  now with that said. being just me and no employees (although blessed with help from my mom & husband) it means i'm working days and nights, weekdays and weekends for almost 2 months.  which is fine except when one week before Paxton & Avery's school holiday party, i realize i haven't thought about their gift to their classmates.  {at their halloween party, when kids were handing out something to their classmates, my two little sweethearts with a touch of sadness turn to me and ask "mommy? do we have something to handout?" me "umm...no, sweethearts not this time." thankfully they were fine with my forgetfullness. i'm new at this whole school thing.} one week before we had one child with strep + one baby with a rash + another child not feeling well + all 4 with colds + snowstorms.  since, i wasn't feeling

these kids make me smile every day! i am truly blessed to have them.   there was a time we thought we'd never have any kids.  and now our house and hearts are full. wishing you a fun  filled weekend. {please note the last 2 pictures were taken thanksgiving weekend. now my kids would get lost in all the snow we have here}

paper chains were a flutter a while ago  i cut patterned paper into 1"x6" strips (i had the paper laying around filed in drawers but you can buy some) and made paper chains attached with staples (after gluestick & tape wouldn't hold)  then added them to our garland and hanging stockings. this house doesn't have a mantel nor fireplace so this is where our stockings ended up.

this is what our half bath looked like when i fell in love with this house this is what it looks like now all new maple trim & new vanity cabinet ~ made by my dear love ~ a new toilet,  new tile floor, paint, new faucet. we reused the top, mirror and light for now. our mudroom before and now our laundry before and a few weeks ago...my husband had just built and installed the cabinet. it now has shelves. doors will be a future project. while nothings completely finished its all moving along. i am so happy and love how its all coming together.

one of my clients liked the bella birdcage invite (save the date actually) since she was using birdhouses at the reception. i incorporated a birdhouse instead of a birdcage. because she asked. you know, cuz i aim to please.* {the brides color inspiration board. specific sources unknown} i tried different custom color combinations and layouts, printed, took photos and emailed them for the bride to review. sometimes i go overboard because i over analyze. {this is my standard process for custom color} from there they made their selection and along came their final design. {forgive the poor quality pic. we've had lots of snow & overcast days}  for someone who hates dislikes birds, i sure do love how these cute these are. i'll be adding a bella birdhouse or maybe just a birdhouse design wedding invitations to my shop in the new year. * or rather i aim to make my clients happy. happy clients make me happy and without happy clients i wouldn't have a business.
