city to country part 2

 a pumpkin farm...


this was more fun for me than the kids because they had stations to talk about canning and how to grow garlic, shitake mushrooms and apples. 
 so the kids played a bit. easton tried to stay awake. he was in need of a nap. we thought he'd sleep. we were wrong.


then each of the kids got to pick a gourd to take home. we had to quick hurry to the next farm to get in on the 3:00 action my big kids were dying to see.
