Baby Shower Anyone?

I just completed these baby shower invites. These are made with 2 shades of pink text printed on white linen cardstock layered on top of 2 shades of pink striped paper. The edges were cut with a victorian design. The buggy is hand stamped with a hand tied bow added for a dimensional effect.

They are a bit different than my usual more modern design, but it's the feel the client wanted and I surprisingly love them. Very little girly!

They are so adorable and perfect for this baby girl.

Here's another pic of a small portion of the 50 invitations. Amazing how orange walls in the evening cast such an interesting glow.

places everyone! places!

as the leaves start changing colors and the weather gets crisper, i know fall is here.  my FAVORITE!  the leaves falling from the trees along with the sound of the leaves blowing in the wind makes me giddy with delight.  with fall's arrival, i am quickly reminded the holiday season is fast approaching. i don't cook and i don't bake. okay... i don't like to. so for me the holiday's aren't about cooking or baking, they are about decorating and making things. one handmade tradition, i've held onto since childhood, is making placecards for family holiday meals. something i now do with my own little artists.   my style and skills have changed over the years but my love for making them has not.  when thinking of holiday traditions, most jump to christmas but i cherish thanksgiving. time to reflect on all to be thankful for and the nearing of falls end. to share my tradition with you, i've created a free...
