this weekend

we picked the kids up from school early
drove 3.5 hours in the car
ate pizza
visited 2 "nursery" homes (what paxton calls a nursing home)
celebrated one christmas
ate cake
did some christmas shopping
heard some carolers
sang christmas songs
laughed
played
cried
drove another 3.5 hours in the car
wrapped presents
went to a birthday party
played some more
and ate more cake
long full weekend.
