I'm how old?

Yes, it's true, I turned 36 today. What? 36?!? How can that be?

To me age is just a number, I don't feel 36. I do feel that I am very lucky to be celebrating another birthday, another birthday with my family, another birthday with my kids and another birthday with my husband.

Sometimes when it's just the kids and I out and about during the weekday, I think people must assume I'm the nanny because I am WAY to young to have kids! Then I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror and it's back to reality!

I will admit that I prefer even years. No matter what, I am one lucky lady... just don't call me ma'am!

Happy Birthday!! You are the very best friend in the entire world! I've been so priviledged to have you in my life for the last 19 years! Man that makes us seem old! You are such an awesome mom, friend and business woman. I love you lots and miss you tons!

places everyone! places!

as the leaves start changing colors and the weather gets crisper, i know fall is here.  my FAVORITE!  the leaves falling from the trees along with the sound of the leaves blowing in the wind makes me giddy with delight.  with fall's arrival, i am quickly reminded the holiday season is fast approaching. i don't cook and i don't bake. okay... i don't like to. so for me the holiday's aren't about cooking or baking, they are about decorating and making things. one handmade tradition, i've held onto since childhood, is making placecards for family holiday meals. something i now do with my own little artists.   my style and skills have changed over the years but my love for making them has not.  when thinking of holiday traditions, most jump to christmas but i cherish thanksgiving. time to reflect on all to be thankful for and the nearing of falls end. to share my tradition with you, i've created a free...
