as the leaves start changing colors and the weather gets crisper, i know fall is here. my FAVORITE! the leaves falling from the trees along with the sound of the leaves blowing in the wind makes me giddy with delight. with fall's arrival, i am quickly reminded the holiday season is fast approaching. i don't cook and i don't bake. okay... i don't like to. so for me the holiday's aren't about cooking or baking, they are about decorating and making things. one handmade tradition, i've held onto since childhood, is making placecards for family holiday meals. something i now do with my own little artists. my style and skills have changed over the years but my love for making them has not. when thinking of holiday traditions, most jump to christmas but i cherish thanksgiving. time to reflect on all to be thankful for and the nearing of falls end. to share my tradition with you, i've created a free...
