This  is a double sided 1st birthday party invite for one beautiful babe!

Seriously, think this is my favorite color combo!  It's so crisp & perfect for fall. I'm crushing on these colors so much, I designed a new invitation set around them.

The birthday guy is my love, husband to me, daddy to our 4, and wonderful person!  Happy Birthday Jer!  We love you!

Working on these save the dates was more than fabulous. Not only is the couple A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. to work with and in person but the date of their New Years Eve celebration is my 10 year wedding anniversary!  (Can I hear a Woot! Woot!) The bride gave me engagement photos by Kristen Lynn photographie , a husband & wife team in Chicago, to design around.  To keep the incredibly beautiful photo large, I put the details on the back. I also worked on their NYE / wedding celebration invitations and their actual wedding invitations.  I'll be sharing them in the future.

Can you believe 2012 is over half over???  I can't, even though, my mind has been racing with 2013 calendar designs.  It's been hard narrowing it down.  The first one is my "fun" desk calendar.  Each design has glasses+flower+mustache. I was giddy with my test print.  I am happy with the bold, fun, silliness of it.  Joy should be found in everyday little things. Next is my normal desk calendar full of bold, pretty, modern designs.  Originally, I didn't think anything could top the way I felt about the above calendar, but I love this one in a different way.  I think you can love more than one person calendar at a time. Then I designed a patterned calendar which will be available in my printable shop next month. I'm also designing an animal calendar. Stay tuned.

Getting ready for a mag photo shoot which will be featuring Stelie Designs this fall.   The kids got dressed + stayed dressed without a hitch.  They were so awesome, followed directions, smiled and were on their best behavior.  I didn't even need to bribe them with a cookie. Can't wait to see the pics of me and my fab 4.  Unfortunately, Jer couldn't get out of work to join us.

The Easton invite continues to be one of my best designs for a fall wedding.  Yet each one remains unique.

The Cambell invite couldn't be more perfect for this couple who are getting married on their family farm.   I designed this after moving out of the city and driving past farms with windmills.  You can read more about it here .

3 years ago today, this happened!  I became the mommy to my second set of twins. Easton & Adler's birth completed our family of 6.   They are full of personality!  See for yourself... Since I couldn't get a photo of them both smiling, I resorted to bribery.  "If you smile for a photo you can open a present!" I am truly blessed!

No it's not Pirate Day!  It's not having a decent camera kind of arrrrrrg.  So many pictures to take and no camera to take them...I finally looked at a few and think I've found one.
