We had a memorial service to commemorate the wonderful photos it provided my business and family.  Now I'm without a camera and with lots of products waiting to be photographed until I take the time to go look for a new one that won't break the bank. Wonderful Father's Day spent with my 2 favorite Dad's!  Mine and my children's.  We went to my parents hoping to spend the day playing on the beach and in the water after we sent my dad & husband golfing. Instead the weather people were wrong! it rained, all afternoon & early evening. [This is what we wished we been doing. Instead it rained.] [Daddy & Easton having fun] [my silly bunch with their fantabulous dad] [my dad, the worlds most amazing papa]

This sweet boy of mine created his work of art on the playroom wall! He was kind enough to find a pencil and get to work drawing then trying to erase while I was in the kitchen (next door) making school lunches and doing spelling words with my big kids. 

What's all the buzz?! (sorry couldn't resist)   The buzz is Beatrice = a new wedding invitation for a couple bees in love!

I've been wanting to add state wedding invitations for a while, but orders kept getting in the way of finalizing a design:) My summer plan is to have 1 day a week dedicated to new designs.  Summer is officially starting this week.  Today was the day for this week.  First up was Texas & Minnesota. Here it is in it's Texas entirety. A snippet of Minnesota You can find them in my shop !  Don't see your state, don't fret, I can do it.

Double happiness for two happy people joining in marriage.  Ever wonder how much text you can fit on an invite? a LOT!

{Fall 2011} We moved into our house late August 2010.  Last summer we dug up the old dead bushes and put in new landscaping on the right of the front door.   The tree on the left wasn't properly cared for, we tried grooming, but it still didn't feel right.   {Fall 2011} This is what I saw every time we came home.  Ugly tree blocking the front door. After convincing my husband it had to go, down she came late last fall.  The bushes in front of the tree, while not my favorite, were relocated, survived the winter and are even blooming. see... And now this is what I see. {Today} Ahhh...much better. I'm toying with the idea of putting in a small patio with new plants close to the sidewalk.  For now existing chairs as a holding place to see how we like/use it. {Today} Slowly, we are moving in the right direction to get our home the way we want.   It's challenging with 4 kids, limited time, and oh so...

Happy June!  2012 is flying by + only 4 days left of school! All 4, all day, all summer!!  I better get planning... Last weekend was filled with fishing, playing in the sand, playing with tadpoles, loads of sunscreen, playing with frogs, playing with worms, digging in the sand, 4 wheeler rides, wave runner rides, laughter, fun, and lots of smiles.  Then we hit the Zoo for the dinosaur exhibit.  I have 4 dino lovers.  Easton stayed in the stroller for most, he was unsure of their size & noise.  The 2nd time around he posed for a pic. Wishing you a fun filled, laughter filled weekend!  I'm sure we will.
