santa claus comes tonight. we know he will be for 4 wonderful little kids of mine. wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season. we'll be enjoying our 'smaller' christmas this year. won't be the same without you dad (he's in arizona with my brother.) we love and miss you papa.

today my mom & i got the kids dressed in their xmas outfits, staged them, then i began taking picture after picture in hopes for one photo good enough for our holiday card. i love how excited my boys are and how avery is saving adler from tipping over. while this is reality this isn't the one.

did your day go something like this... wake at 3:03 am to a crying baby stagger out of bed give her a nuk go back to bed wake at 4:07 am to same crying baby stagger out of bed give her a nuk go back to bed *wake at 4:30 am again to the same crying baby pick her up change her, repeat with brother feed them, put them to bed eyesight blurry, put self to bed within minutes different crying baby, lay him on his back (he's trying to roll) me back to bed, repeat stay up then realize he did go back to sleep, so i did too. we all wake, eat, make coffee, babies play while i work for 30 minutes shower try to work but babies cry without full attention play time, then i work like this... one baby in a wrap, one baby in my arm, while drawing on computer. once baby e tried bustin out of his wrap i called it a day (while they were awake that is.) many bouts of crying today if they weren't held or had mommys full attention. P&A arrived home and babies were happy, i guess they missed all the...

my babies were baptized december 6 in my hometown church. it's where i was married, where my first borns were baptized, so it only seemed right to continue the tradition. Easton never cried while water was dripping down his face. Adler never cried while water was dripping down her face. (much to my amazement since she's a bit of a drama queen) Happily all 4 kids were so well behaved and adorable during the extra long church service. There also was a childrens program and a youth dance group that week. Believe me they made up for it on the 5 hour car ride home:)

my sweet babies were born 5 months ago today, where does the time go? they love to laugh, drool, smile, talk, drool, stand, sit, play, giggle, drool, coo, be silly. they love their big brother and big sister so very much and smile big whenever they see them.

giraffe's are an IT animal this season (much like the owl previously.) i've been meaning to draw a digital giraffe for almost 2 years. once someone asks me to create one, it gets done. here is a glimpse at a recent baby shower invite I completed.
