A bride contacted me about using my skyline outlines at the bottom of the invite instead of the solid/filled in version, I said "absolutely!"  This is how they turned out.  LOVE!

I never tire of the Seattle skyline invitations! It's a pretty city which I haven't visited in WAY toooooo long.  My clients also ordered matching folded thank you cards, but I missed photographing them.    What skyline would you like to see?  I already have designs for Minneapolis, St. Paul, Chicago, New York City, Austin, Boston, Atlanta, Lansing MI, Seattle, Las Vegas, Calgary & Philadelphia but feel like adding another one or two on my own.    Of course if you need a different skyline for your wedding stationery or invitation, let me know.

  Considering I've lived in the Twin Cities for 23 years (gasp!!) I've been meaning to create a St. Paul skyline since I already have Minneapolis.  It took a few years and someone a sweet bride-to-be to ask for it, that it's now here, added to my skyline collection (Austin, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, Philadelphia, Minneapolis and St . Paul)  Available in my shop!

Custom designed city love art prints for a client currently living+getting married in Chicago, but moving to NYC!

 My skyline invites have become my most popular invite! I have lots of plans to use what's working (skyline) + a little something else to make a new design.  I used my NYC outline shown in navy with my heart tree design to make this new fall skyline. Sometimes, I'm a design recycler/reinventor, a work with what you have type.  I have 4 kids, work from home, limited daycare since January, a child who's been demanding of my time since April with dr's and going to school issues (another post...someday)  along with last month being my 2nd highest sales month since I started this business of mine.  Meaning sometimes finding time to actually create new designs (without someone paying me) needs to be quick.  I was reminded of the below custom design option (not chosen) for my wonderful clients this time 2 years ago, which I still like but needed to clean it up a bit to love it. This lovely couple is getting married in Boston (hence, the Boston skyline invite) and added some really fun parts to their invitations.  Check out the tag on the bottom left "Please come hungry and wear your dancing shoes!"  Can we say...LOOOVE IT!! Then take a peek at the response card.  Along with responding you will or won't be able to attend their guests will get to answer what they plan to do at their wedding and what the best qualities of the happy couple are!  Can we say....LOOOOVE IT even more!!  Of course, don't forget the matching thank you card. Save the Date for fun Chicago wedding!

 I added Chicago to my skyline collection! I love Chicago!  Downtown Chicago is special to me.   My dearest friend was married there, I spent a LOT of time there for work, attended a convention, trips with friends, etc. etc.  It's beautiful, windy, inspiring, full of hussle and bussle and everything a true city girl could love.

Many Boston weddings! This last one is a rehearsal invite for a wedding happening on New Years Eve (I was married on NYE!)  Love how this bride wanted fireworks added.  I'm thinking of adding a new skyline, what would you like to see?

forget the rehearsal part...let's eat! i have had the opportunity to work with such incredible people. i couldn't be happier or more thankful for my clients. yes, each and everyone of you. this time was no exception, i worked with a fabulous mom of the groom! so delightful and engaging. we took my seattle skyline wedding invite and turned it into a seattle rehearsal dinner invite.

 if you've been following me for a while then you know i'm a city girl who moved to a small town.  recently i was looking for art for my family room to personalize the space a bit more. after adding a photo of my 4, i decided to create a family print (i'll show you later) and the city i miss. i've been in minneapolis since college in the fall of '90. everytime i saw the minneapolis skyline i felt at home. i also loved working downtown for almost 12 years.  as my life has changed, i love working from home even more and still love the city. now available in 5x7 and 5.5x5.5 in my shop .
