Custom designed city love art prints for a client currently living+getting married in Chicago, but moving to NYC!

I've been wanting to paint the words hello on a canvas and hang it in my entry foyer.  I've seen welcome used quite a bit, but frankly I say "hi" or "hello, come on in" when someones comes to the door.  There is nothing formal about me, my house or my family.  Then a light bulb went off in my head "I must make this into an art print for everyone to enjoy!" An art print was born and while my half wall over the stairs is still empty, my office wall is happy.

My newest art prints!    It's important to remind ourselved to be inspired.  To be inspired by anything big or small around you.   To be colorful.  To make your mark in the world.  Life is not black & white. To be you!  To not be someone else or the someone we think other want or tell us to be.  Real happiness is found when we become our real self, our authentic self. I think it's important to learn something new everyday whether you are 1 or 101 or somewhere in between. Learning fuels the brain. If you aren't learning, it's time to move on and find somthing new. I created the "LEARN" art print for one of our playrooms.  Now I'm giving it to you.  It would work in an office, child's room, kitchen, family room, etc. I'll be sharing the "PLAY" print with you in the future.  If you are interested in the other prints you can find them here , here , and here . with thanksgiving just around the corner  arriving tomorrow, it reminds me to reflect on what i'm thankful for...i'm most thankful for my family and friends and for the medical field that helped my aunt beat cancer this year!   but i'm also thankful for my business, for the ability to work from home, with my own hours, while raising my kids.  i'm also thankful for all of you! without you, my clients and supporters i wouldn't have this wonderful thriving business so thank you! to say thanks, i will be sharing a few printables/downloads + some special giveaways.  first up is a special giveaway!  one lucky winner will receive a personalized custom family tree print. sorry about the title, it jumped in my head. no post about cows here, just chickens.  a previous wedding client asked me to design invites for a baby shower she was throwing.  when i heard the theme "is the baby a hen or a rooster" i just had to do it.  (avery wants a baby chick for christmas. yes, a real one.) the mom-to-be raises chickens + doesn't know the sex of her unborn baby.  apprarently the dr. wrote the answer on a piece of paper. they have it in a drawer in their house and have yet to peak!  how is that possible?!??!!!  (i had to know) i was so thrilled with how my chickens turned out, so I put it on an art print . use coupon code: EGHoliday10 for 10% off thru Monday, Nov. 14

 if you've been following me for a while then you know i'm a city girl who moved to a small town.  recently i was looking for art for my family room to personalize the space a bit more. after adding a photo of my 4, i decided to create a family print (i'll show you later) and the city i miss. i've been in minneapolis since college in the fall of '90. everytime i saw the minneapolis skyline i felt at home. i also loved working downtown for almost 12 years.  as my life has changed, i love working from home even more and still love the city. now available in 5x7 and 5.5x5.5 in my shop .

spring summer  fall winter all 4 seasons together i created these seasonal aspen art prints for a fabulous new client.  she plans on hanging all four 5x7 prints above coat hooks for her daughters.  i can't wait to see photos once installed. i'll be adding these to my shop . in the meantime, if you are dying to have one or all four let me know. they look great alone or all together.

earlier this year, i added art prints to my shop. i created many. listed a few. then weddings got in the way. i have many yet to list. but for now i'm going to share. with you all first. these girl and boy wall art groupings. are fun. modern. just my style. enjoy this breath of fresh air. while i continue slaving away on wedding invitations and stop to get family photos taken later this morning. i'll show you what i've been working on someday in the near [or distant]  future.

are unsung heros... as the school year comes to a close, finding ways to show teacher appreciation can be daunting. what to do? gift cards, stationery, notepads, or this perfectly personalized item... one of my clients had this fabulous idea for me to create an art print for her daughters teacher.  i love how it turned out. how special it is. how personal. and how it captures a moment in time for she will never have those kids in her class again. while i show it with a digital black frame. she chose an apple green frame.  i love it so much. i'm going to steal the idea for my kids teachers. it won't be turtles. i'll have my kids choose an animal.
